Do you want to be part of developing a product that makes a difference? Nordic Forestry Automation uses the most innovative technologies to make Swedish forestry more sustainable.

Nordic Forestry Automation (NFA) develops innovative digital tools for the forestry industry. Their system analyzes forests in real-time to optimize the thinning process, improve the working environment, and contribute to more sustainable forestry. By providing forest machine operators and landowners with better decision-making data, they are transforming forestry for the better.

NFA is in an exciting phase, building a technology platform with the potential to make a significant positive impact on forest environments both nationally and globally. They are now looking for a DevOps Engineer to join this journey!

About the Role

As a DevOps Engineer at NFA, you will play a key role in the development process. Your main responsibilities will include designing and maintaining the framework for automated testing, ensuring high test coverage, and improving the CI/CD workflow. The test infrastructure is based on recordings from field systems and is supplemented with synthetic data from an advanced simulation environment.

Since NFA is a small team, you will also contribute to other infrastructure-related areas as needed, such as:

  • OTA updates – managing over-the-air distribution solutions.
  • Cloud-based services – improving databases and customer-facing services.
  • Development environments – ensuring efficient and modern DevOps practices.

Who They Are Looking For

They are looking for a dedicated individual with a passion for automation and a drive to improve workflows. You should have:

  • Around 3 years of experience in software development, preferably with a DevOps focus.
  • A university degree in software development or another relevant field.
  • Experience in designing and implementing DevOps components.
  • Strong proficiency in working with Linux environments.
  • Bonus qualifications: knowledge of 3D simulation engines, container technologies, and OTA updates.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills, as NFA is a small team where flexibility and team spirit are essential.
